LOPP-California Advocacy Principles |

|
As Lutheran Christians, we all share one faith, one baptism, and one Lord. Yet, we live out our faith in different ways and respond differently to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. LOPP-California respects our unity and our diversity. LOPP-California communicates this diversity of opinion in its advocacy with public policy makers. LOPP-California makes statements and takes positions on public policy in accordance with the Holy Scriptures, the Ecumenical Creeds, the Lutheran Confessions, and ELCA Social Statements, Messages, and Social Policy Resolutions. The social statements of the ELCA's predecessor church bodies also provide a policy base for LOPP-California's advocacy.
